Newborn Process:
For newborn sessions, it’s best to get in touch while you’re still pregnant so I can pencil in your due date — babies have their own timing, and I always keep flexibility around arrivals. Once baby is here, just message me within a few days so we can book your session (ideally when your little one is 5–14 days old).
A £50 booking fee secures your slot, and everything is done easily online. On the day, sessions are calm and baby-led, with plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, and changes. You’ll have full access to all props and wraps, and siblings and parents are always welcome to join for a small additional fee.
Your gallery will be ready in around 2–3 weeks for you to view, choose favourites, and order prints or wall art.

Because they'll never be this tiny again...
Those first days with a newborn feel like a beautiful blur—tiny fingers, soft sighs, sleepy smiles. They change so quickly, and my aim is to help you hold onto this fleeting stage forever.
My newborn sessions are slow, gentle, and completely baby-led. There’s no stopwatch, no rush—just time to settle, feed, cuddle, and let your little one guide the pace. I’ll work around their natural rhythm, whether that means pausing for a feed or snapping away while they’re in a milk-drunk snooze.
I keep my images natural and heartfelt—soft poses, tiny details, and those quiet connections between you and your baby. Siblings and family members are always welcome too; these are just as much your memories as they are theirs.
With my background working with children and SEN, calm comes naturally to me. Whether we’re in your home or my warm Penistone studio, I’ll create a relaxed, safe space where you can simply enjoy the moment.
When you look back at your gallery, I want you to feel it all again—the love, the wonder, the tenderness, and that overwhelming “we made this” feeling.
Newborn FAQs
How long does a session usually last?
These tend to last between 2-3 hours, this is because I prefer to take my time, let the baby have a good feed and be nice and sleepy!
Whats the best time to have a Newborn session?
Age wise, I usually say between 1-2 weeks max, this means they are still super sleepy.
Timing for the shoot, I say around 10-11am as they tend to have a feed and be at their most sleepy! Again, I'm flexible with this so don't worry.
What do I need to bring?
I always ask parents to do the following:
- Bring easy clothes to get them undressed in for when they arrive.
- Milk (if not breastfeeding)
- Cuddly Toy (if you want a keepsake in a photo)
- Nappies (Wipes and mat are provided)
- Dummy - even if they aren't taking one yet, this really helps with soothing for photos.
I will take care of everything else!
Say hello.
Let's work together.
