Smashed it! Literally...
Let’s be honest—watching your little one step into cake territory is pure entertainment. Maybe they poke at the icing with one cautious finger… or maybe they dive in face-first and the cake ends up everywhere (including on my leggings—yes, it’s happened). That unpredictability? That’s what makes these sessions so much fun!
Here’s how it usually goes:
- We start with a few “before” portraits—cake pristine, baby clean, maximum cuteness.
- Then it’s over to them. Whether they’re a slow-and-steady taster or a frosting-flinging whirlwind, I follow their lead with camera ready.
- My studio is set up like a tiny adventure space—warm, safe, and somewhere crumbs are not only welcome, but encouraged.
- Want a theme? I can style the setup just for you—whether that’s rustic woodland, bright and bold, or soft pastels.
- If you fancy a splash bath afterwards to wash off the evidence? I’m all for it—the post-cake chill-out moments are some of my favourites to photograph.
By the end, you won’t just have cute photos—you’ll have the full story and memories to look back on their big birthday treat!
